Why Maui? The Maui area is tied to a documentary project that Evan and Meredith (Friends of AAA) are working on together, about a convergent science project (indigenous knowledge + modern science). The documentary is about the work Dr. Daniel Wildcat is leading at the Rising Voices Changing Coasts (RVCC) Hub at Haskell Indian Nations University (Lawrence, KS).
