Students and parents! Our first annual Community Service Fair is next Tuesday, November 14th, from 3-5 pm! The fair, located in the High School PAC, will host around 15 community service partners who have community service hours available for our students. Grade 8 will be dismissed from class 3:00-3:30 pm to attend the fair and grade 9 will be dismissed from class 3:30-4:00 pm to attend the fair. We strongly encourage all students in other grades to come by from 4:00-5:00pm. Parents are welcome to attend at their convenience from 3:00–5:00 pm, after checking in at the front office. Estudiantes ¡y padres! Nuestra primera feria anual de Servicio Comunitarios es el próximo Martes, 14 de noviembre, de 3 a 5 pm! La feria acogerá alrededor de 15 socios de servicio comunitario que tienen comunidad servicio horarios disponibles para nuestros estudiantes. El grado 8 saldrá de clase de 3:00 a 3:30 p. m. para asistir a la feria y el grado 9 saldrá de clase de 3:30 a 4:00 p. m. para asistir a la feria. Recomendamos encarecidamente que todos los estudiantes de otros grados vengan de 4 a 5 p.m. Los padres pueden asistir cuando les convenga de 3 a 5 p. m., después de registrarse en la oficina principal.

Arkansas Arts Academy High School Flu Vaccine Clinic When: November 9. The nurse will begin at the Elementary campus at 8:30am and will travel to the HS once the Elementary is complete. Who: Arkansas Department of Health (Students without a completed consent form will not receive a flu shot) Paper copies of consent forms have been given to students, digital copies are posted in students "Class of" Google Classrooms and a digital copy was sent via emails to parents/guardians. All consent forms are due back Monday November 6 to the front office or nurses office. Tomorrow evening is the El Dia de los Muertos Community Event! Make plans to join the celebration! The event begins in the HS Commons, there will be dance, choir and theatrical performances; culinary students will sell Mexican cuisine; student art work as well as art making and arts integration stations with connections to the celebration of El Dia de los Muertos. https://www.nwahomepage.com/news/arkansas-arts-academy-hosting-dia-de-los-muertos-event/ Stay for the procession! At 6:30 pm a procession will depart from the high school campus to El Dia de los Muertos Downtown Rogers. Dancers, marionettes, choir, and a percussion band will lead the audience to the Rogers Historical Museum where the public can pay respects at the oferenda, designed and built by students in Spanish classes. The procession continues to the Frisco Plaza where performances by AAA chamber orchestra, advanced percussion, and the Rockhoppers will perform. The event is free and open to the public.

Happy Halloween from Arkansas Arts Academy! Students from Mr. Belin’s dance classes rocked downtown Rogers with their performance of Michael Jackson’s THRILLER at the Goblin Candy Crawl! The event will begin in the HS Commons where students will offer dance and theatrical performances, display works of art, host a Latin cuisine fundraiser as well as offer art making and arts integration stations with connections to the celebration of El Dia de los Muertos. At 6:30 pm a procession will depart from the high school campus to Downtown Rogers. Dancers, marionettes, choir, and a percussion band will lead the audience to the Rogers Historical Museum where the public can pay respects at the oferenda, designed and built by students in Spanish classes. The procession continues to the Frisco Plaza where performances by AAA choir, Equilibrium and dance ensemble, chamber orchestra, percussion, and the Rockhoppers will perform.
