7th grade English students have been learning about different cultures and how they have faced and overcome adversity. As they closed out the unit, students looked at a few ways peaceful protesting has been used to influence change for many of these communities and cultures. Students got to create a protest song and protest poster using the printmaking process to bring light to a community, culture, or problem of their choice that was either reviewed in class or that was personal for them. Thank you to Mrs. Kehr and Mr. Jones for creating this great experience! view image
