Arts Live Theatre presents a two-week Production Camp at Arkansas Arts Academy in Rogers from June 10 to 21, 2024. Those interested in a scholarship should submit both the registration and scholarship forms.
Arkansas Arts Academy will have access to the camp registration before we open it to the public, ensuring that those interested can sign up for camp. We will open camp registration to the public next week.

June 10-14 & June 17-21, 9 am - 3 pm each day
(We will extend camp hours on the last day, June 21, when we present matinee and early evening performances.)
Camp description:
THE SWORD AND THE STONE
After the King of England, Uther Pendragon, dies without an heir to his throne, a sword magically appears inside an anvil atop a stone, with an inscription proclaiming that whoever removes it is the future king. Many attempt to remove the sword, including a young squire named Arthur. Join us as we tell this magical story of Arthur and the wise wizard Merlin. Please note that this is not a musical. Masking at Arts Live Theatre is optional but subject to change.

Congratulations to Mural Winner, Emma Gastineau!
In December a competition opened for NWACC students (Emma was able to apply because she takes concurrent courses) to submit a food-themed, 12.5 x 4 ft design for a mural. Emma won and spent approx. 45 to 50 hours completing the mural, A Palatable Terrain. It is made with primer, acrylic paint, and sharpie.

AAA Night @ the Museum 10 Year Anniversary!
SAVE THE DATE! The AAA Night @ the Museum spring event will take place on Thursday, May 9th from 6-8 pm at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
Come support our K-12 students as they perform in the Great Hall and throughout the Museum grounds. Additionally, special guests from the National Association of Museum Schools (NAMS) will be at the event. AAA has been selected to be part of the NAMS Road Trip, a national tour of best practices of Museum School models. AAA is honored to be part of this tour and is one of six stops across the Nation! We look forward to your participation!

Elementary families, there have been some changes made to the March lunch menu. Please see the updates below.

Just a reminder for parents about our awards assembly! Students in grades 10-12 will assemble at 1:05 in the PAC. The Class of 2024 Valedictorian and Salutatorian will announced at this time. Students in grades 7-9 will assemble at 2:35 in the PAC. If you have questions about the Honor Roll Assembly, please contact Dr. Langley for students in grades 7-9 at elangley@artsk12.org or Ms. Dale for students in grades 10-12 at jdale@artsk12.org.


Arkansas Arts Academy is partnering with Hugs From Friends for their new project 1000 HUGS! AAA is excited to be a school partner, our district has pledged to create 1000 cards with original artwork by AAA students which will be paired with 1,000 Beanie Babies and delivered to children and families affected by the war in Ukraine.
So far the school has created over 300 cards (THANK YOU 1st and 5th grades!!!) The remaining 700 will be completed before the end of the semester.
