Don't miss the upcoming high school art exhibit on May 3rd from 5:30 to 6:30! Explore the diverse creations of our talented visual arts students before immersing yourself in the enchanting jazz show in the black box. The exhibit will continue until May 15th, showcasing the dedication and guidance of our amazing visual arts teachers: Carrie Haase, Rae Tedeton, Joy Schultz, and Lourdes Valverde.

Students, teachers and parents, the Rogers Short Film Festival is May 3-5 at the newly renovated Victory Theatre in downtown Rogers. This will be the fourth year for the festival and is anticipated to be the highest attended. Afternoon and evening shifts will be available for: Festival set-up, Ticketing, Ushering, Filmmaker check-in, Filmmaker lounge. Volunteers may sign up for as many shifts as they would like.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. AAA is proud to announce that Hannah Evans- Sophomore in Ms. Schultz Painting Class was awarded the prestigious honor of being named the 2024 Congressional Art Award Winner. On April 24th at Arts on Main in Van Buren Hannah was awarded
second place in Congressman Steve Womack 3rd District
Competition. Hannah was one of 5 finalists from the entire
district to be selected for the honor. The oil painting is a self portrait - Girl with the Red Hair This is one of Hannah’s first portrait in oil paint and it demonstrates her
artistic talents.
Congratulations Hannah for showcasing your art skills to the state of Arkansas and also representing Arkansas Arts Academy. We are so proud of you!
AAA Night @ the Museum 10 Year Anniversary!
The AAA Night @ the Museum spring event will take place on Thursday, May 9th from 6-8 pm at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Come support our K-12 students as they perform in the Great Hall and throughout the Museum grounds. Special guests from the National Association of Museum Schools (NAMS) will attend the event. AAA has been selected to be part of the NAMS Road Trip, a national tour of best practices of Museum School models. AAA is honored to be part of this tour and is one of six stops across the Nation!

AAA Elementary hosted a Touch A Truck event this morning. Students experienced several community trucks up close and learned about a variety of jobs from the drivers.
Tonight was our very first CHARIS Parent Showcase. Third through sixth grade students in our CHARIS pullout program showcased their end of unit original creations. Students learned about not only their unit concepts, but also risk taking, perseverance, and time management.
