
William Beveridge, a senior at Arkansas Arts Academy in Rogers, received the Governor's
Award for Musical Excellence. Beveridge has performed many concerts at Arkansas Arts
Academy and around Northwest Arkansas in the community. He has performed in jazz, rock, classical, fusion, and other styles. Additionally, he is among the first students to complete the music pathway program at Arkansas Arts Academy, which requires completion of a minimum of nine credits of music courses. Beveridge, the 2024 valedictorian, has been accepted by prestigious collegiate music programs such as Berklee and Belmont and will attend Belmont as an undergraduate student, starting in the Fall semester 2024.

This weekend, AAA Improv Troupe will perform in the Black Box at 5 p.m., and Encore, the musical theatre performance, will be in the Performing Arts Center.


NWA Maker Days is being celebrated at the Arkansas Arts Academy High School Colors of Connection event bringing awareness to Mental Health Awareness month. The East Initiative instructors Rob Plant (K-6 campus) and Robert Beard (7-12 campus) have their students facilitate opportunities for the public to create Mental Health Awareness ribbons using 3D printing pens and enjoy a meditation experience using VR. This opportunity was made possible through the Scott Family Amazeum! #NWAMakerDays

This Thursday evening is AAA Night @ the Museum! Come to Crystal Bridges Museum and support our K-12 students as they perform in the Great Hall and throughout the Museum grounds. Special guests from the National Association of Museum Schools (NAMS) will attend the event. AAA has been selected to be part of the NAMS Road Trip, a national tour of best practices of Museum School models. AAA is honored to be part of this tour and is one of six stops across the Nation! We look forward to your participation!

THANK YOU! To all of the students, parents, teachers and friends that helped with volunteering for the 4th annual Rogers Short Film Festival in downtown Rogers this past weekend! The event was a tremendous success and one of the highest attended.
