Important Information Regarding High School Arrival and Dismissal
Starting next Monday Oct. 7- Wednesday Oct. 9, the 5th Street and Poplar intersection will be closed for waterline construction (this is marked by the Red X on the map). We need your help in freeing up traffic from the following route areas so that our buses can safely and efficiently pick up/drop off our students in the morning and afternoons. The buses will approach Arkansas Arts Academy High School going North on 4th street, will turn left on Cherry St, and will park at the intersection of Cherry and 5th. The route of the bus is labeled by the yellow arrows and the bus parking location is marked by the light blue “Bus”. Students will use the crosswalk circled in Orange to cross 5th street to access the school or bus. Once students are loaded or unloaded the bus will turn left on 5th street and continue South on its route. Please refrain from parking before or after school on the following streets: 4th, Cherry, and 5th as this will congest the area and prevent the buses from easy access. If you have any questions, please contact Neal Harral at nharral@artsk12.org or at (479) 878-2787.
Thank you.
