Another Exciting Opportunity at Arkansas Arts Academy as we partner with the Music Education Initiative! They will offer a full-week workshop for AAA students and the community. The overall mission of the Music Education Initiative is to engage, educate, and elevate the next generation of professionals in the business of music and entertainment. One way they do that is through our workforce development program.
Their Production Education and Technical Training Program is a first-class workshop that will be held at Arkansas Arts Academy. It's an immersive experience that exposes, educates, and trains participants on production and technical fundamentals and offers the opportunity to work with companies that are in need of trained talent.
Participants will be trained by live performance technicians in four key areas of the industry: safety, audio, lighting, and best practices. After training, participants may be eligible for upcoming jobs and potential careers as live performance technicians. This workforce development program gives you the hands-on experience you need while developing relationships with key people in the industry. Ultimately, you'll gain the ability to be hired for entry-level employment at an hourly rate much higher than the current minimum wage.
