Cross Country 2019-2020

SUMMER PRACTICES
Meet at Tiger Blvd. track in Bentonville 6:45am-8:15am. These practices are not mandatory,but are recommended. It is a good way to build up endurance.

Transportation: you must provide your own transportation. Parents need to be there on time to pick you up as there will not be a supervising adult present at all times.
Each Athlete must have a physical to participate. You need to have this before the season starts. July 29th there will be free physicals given at the EMS campus
June 23-July 7 : Dead Period- a time according to AAA rule that coaches cannot be present -training should continue on your own

SEASON
Season practices will be at the High School at 7:00 am. Meet in the Cafeteria. Monday- Thursday
Participating in Cross Country will earn you a P.E. credit
Information regarding a parent meeting and a schedule of races will be sent out at a later date
There is a $50 athletic fee due before the start of regular practices.
Athletes must purchase solid black running shorts for uniform. Jerseys will be provided.
Most races take place on Saturday mornings
