Public Notice: Arkansas Arts Academy gives notice that it will submit an application for the Nita M. Lowery 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant for Arkansas Arts Academy K-12 for the school year 2022-2023.

Good news! We believe the roads will be clear by tomorrow afternoon. Because of this, we still plan on having the EMS performance of The Claw on Saturday, March 12th! One change - We will have TWO performances. Our first will be at the scheduled time of 2:00 PM. The second will be at 5:00 PM. Here is our schedule for tomorrow, Saturday, March 12th: 12:00 - performers arrive at High School (please make sure your performer has eaten lunch) 2:00 - The Claw performance #1 *****students may leave between performances or stay at school with us for the hour (have a snack to eat if this is the case) 4:15 - performers arrive in the PAC to change back into costumes 5:00 - The Claw performance #2 ~6:00 - strike the stage and clean up **If you reserved seats for Friday's show, those seats will be moved to the 5:00 performance.** We will keep you aware if there are any changes to this new schedule. Due to the predicted weather forecast for today, March 11, 2022, AAA will be closed. Students and staff will have a snow day. All practices and performances scheduled are cancelled as well.

AAA is currently monitoring the forecasted weather and will notify parents, staff and students by 6:00 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, March 11, 2022 by email, phone and social media. Please stay tuned.

Congratulations to David Singleton for being recognized as the Arkansas Arts Academy High School Teacher of the Month. His leadership within our high school music program is legendary. Thank you David for being such a Rock Star!

Attention AAA Community: The school board voted at tonight's meeting that beginning March 9, 2022 face masks are OPTIONAL. We respect all of our AAA families and decisions on face masking, however there is no longer a mask mandate as of March 9. 2022.

A big shout out to the HSG and HSB Soccer team for big games against Eureka Springs. The boys pulled off a 5-3 win with goals by Ramos (4) and Small (1) and the girls fought to a 1-3 final. #DiamondSoccer

Mark your calendars and support the work of our 5th and 6th-grade choir, theatre, and visual arts students as they present The Claw on March 11th at 6 pm and March 12th at 2 pm. The performance is in the Performing Arts Center on the upper campus at 506 West Poplar St. Donations will be accepted at the door.

Due to the unsafe road conditions, Arkansas Arts Academy will have a severe weather day on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022. The make up day will be announced at March 8, 2022 school board meeting. Stay safe and warm and see everyone at school on Monday.

Arkansas Arts Academy will be closed Thursday 2/24/2022 due to the current severe weather. This will be a snow/sleet day. Details on when the day will be made up will be sent to parents via email and discussed at the March 8, 2022 board meeting. Stay staff and warm.

AAA will have a remote learning day on 2/23/2022- this is our final AMI day, so no make up day will be required. Please encourage your student to use tomorrow to read, participate in a creative activity or catch up on assignments. We will continue to monitor the weather.
