Thank you to everyone who came out to the Frisco Festival to watch the Great Cardboard Train Race sponsored by the Rogers Historical Museum! The competition was tough and it was a close and comical race. After two heats in the adult division Arkansas Arts Academy took first place in the obstacle course as well as first place in the creative competition with their cardboard locomotive called the AAA Steampunk Express.
As the new reigning champions of the Great Cardboard Race the team won a trip to New Jersey to ride the Acela, the fastest train in the US which can reach a top speed of 160 mph... just kidding, we have two awesome trophies and bragging rights for a year.
