The Child Advocacy Center will be sharing how parents and caregivers can better understand the effects that trauma and toxic stress can have on children's development, as well as practical ways to build resilience, strengthen healthy attachment, and help children feel safe, connected, and supported.

We’re excited to invite you to our Thanksgiving Lunch on Thursday, November 19! If you would like to join your child(ren) for this special meal, please purchase a meal ticket.
Adult meal tickets are $8.00 each. To help us plan accordingly, ticket sales will close on Monday, November 16th.
If you have students in both elementary and high school and would like to attend both events, you may do so with the purchase of just one ticket. You can then choose which event you want to eat at.

The 6th grade students visited the newly opened studios at the museum, where Ms. Lopez introduced them to her work as well as the collaborative project they would create in clay. Students were asked to come up with a Big Picture theme, something that everyone could relate to, and create a small piece to assemble for a larger composition. The students elected on FOOD! Ms. Lopez then modeled the clay techniques to create their individual sculptures. Once the mini-foodie clay forms were sculpted, students attached them to a base form created by Ms. Lopez. The finished work will be fired, glazed, and then on display at the Museum at the school’s AAA Night @ the Museum event on Thursday, November 19th from 5:40- 8:00 pm.

On Monday, students in grades 8-12 learned about available college and career assessments provided at Arkansas Arts Academy during the 2026-2027 school year. Mr. Smithers and Ms. Dale invite families to come to an information session on these college and career assessments at AAA HS on September 8th at 6 pm. We will review the available assessments and offer a time for you to ask questions as well as to confirm your student's assessment choices.

Start the school day strong! Every student in our district can receive ONE FREE BREAKFAST each school day. There is no income requirement, and students do not need to qualify for any other meal program to participate.
