In addition, Mr. Harris’s 11th-grade English classes will display their Arts Integration projects. The students recently read the novel The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway and have created miniature “skiffs” inspired by the story. The vessels were tested to see if they were “sea-worthy” with a trip to Lake Atalanta. Come to the gallery to find out how many vessels survived the lake experience and hear some fishing tales about their aquatic voyage.

In addition, Mr. Harris’s 11th-grade English classes will display their Arts Integration projects as well. The students recently read the novel The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway and have created miniature “skiffs” inspired by the story. The vessels will be tested next week to see if they are actually “sea-worthy” with a trip to Lake Atalanta. Come to the gallery to find out how many vessels survived the lake experience and hear some fishing tales about their aquatic voyage.
Also, be sure to bring some cash to purchase a scone from the AAA culinary program! To help celebrate the Taste of Rogers event, the culinary team will set up at the A3 Gallery and sell scones to help raise funds for the culinary program.
We look forward to seeing you at the A3 Gallery on May 14th! Event time is 4:30-7:00 pm.
