Hello. My name is Richard Spilman and I am from the Delta Cultural Center in Helena, AR. Every year, we have our annual Youth Poster Contest where children from K-12 grade enter blues related posters in the chance of winning cash prizes. The first Tuesday before the Blues festival we post these in our Depot museum so visitors can see the artwork done by children throughout Arkansas and various other states as well. Due to COVID-19, we have had limited entries this year. In response to this, I am reaching out to teachers and educators to see if you know of some children who would want to enter posters in for the contest this year. I am attaching the Youth letter that I sent out with more information on this contest. If you know of some children who would be interested in participating in this event, please feel free to let them know about this event. One change in this document is the due date. It will be moved from June 15 to August 1. Please feel free to E-mail me or call me if you have any questions or comments.
