Frisco Inferno Great Cardboard Train Race

The Great Cardboard Train Race is Saturday October 8th as part of the Frisco Inferno Festival!  ARKANSAS ARTS ACADEMY is the reigning champion and we have been asked to defend our titles! YES! TITLES- plural.  

AAA won both speed through the obstacle course and design last year.  We are in need of a team or teams to represent our school campuses  (there are 4 divisions).  There are four divisions which include: 5-10 years of age; 11-15 years of age; 16-adult; Family Group  (groups consist of 4 people that could be teachers, students, parents, friends, whomever you would like). 

WHAT IS THIS EVENT? The Great Cardboard Train Race is part of FRISCO INFERNO celebrating Bikes, Blues and Barbeque in downtown Rogers https://friscoinferno.com/inde...  

WHERE IS THE EVENT? Event starts and ends at the Rogers Historical Museum on the corner of 2nd and Cherry Streets.

WHEN DOES THE EVENT TAKE PLACE? Event times are on Saturday, October 8:
10:00 a.m. – Deliver your train to the racecourse check-in table for creativity judging and Team check-in and race pairings. Leave your train on display for the judges to look over and the crowd to admire.

HOW DOES A TEAM ENTER? 
1. Grab three friends or three family members who like to have a good time.
2. Enter your four- person team by completing the entry form.
3. Pick up your official “train kit” (no cardboard will be issued without registration form). Available till October 1st.
4. Create your very own amazingly cool train following the general guidelines provided.
5. Show up on Saturday, October 8 at 10:00 a.m. ready to race!

WHAT DO WE WIN? PRIZES:Creative Style Winners (one team per division) - Trophies; Top Speed Winners (one team per division) - Trophies and four tasting tickets to Frisco Inferno Barbecue Competition & Tasting as well as bragging rites for another year!
