The Great Cardboard Train Race

We hope that you make plans to be part of the 36th Annual Frisco Festival in the newly renovated railyard park located in downtown Rogers this weekend.  Festivities begin tonight at 5:00 pm and continue through Saturday until 10 pm.  This is a family friendly event, there will be music, dancing, art, food,  games, a film festival, and most importantly there will be The Great Cardboard Train Race!

Yes, this year Arkansas Arts Academy is participating in the Great Cardboard Train Race! Come out and cheer on our dashing and creative paper formed locomotive and it's steampunk conductors as they take on local challengers in an obstacle race and style competition!  High school art teacher Kerrey Klatt has created a masterpiece of a steam engine!  The Great Carboard Train Race begins at 10:30 am; arrive earlier to see who takes the artistic prize (we will of course...). We look forward to seeing you there!
