The Culinary Classes and the Gardening Club have been working on preparing the garden beds for a good winters sleep and spring planting! We are digging out grass, tilling soil and adding in fertilizer and compost! We should have a nice place to plant as soon as the last frost is over! It’s nice to get out into the warm sun and put in a little manual work as well! Many hands make light work! #GARDENCLUB #farmtotable #AAACulinary

We are discussing pasta alternatives and healthy “swaps” in Nutrition class. These students made Pesto Sauce and tasted each other’s to pick the class favorite. They were all good! But Hannah squeaked out the win with Jivon close behind! We are going to make classic tomato sauce next while trying our sauces over some alternatives to traditional pasta. We had a good class including some music by Dean Martin!#options #freshBasil #kidsinthekitchen
