Hi! I'm Shawna Robinson, and I'm excited to be joining the team at Arkansas Arts Academy this year! I recently graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and completed my student teaching here at AAA. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to continue at a school that already feels like home.
My husband is already part of the AAA family as the Director of Maintenance and Facilities. We have two children, Wyatt and Ruby, who keep us busy and bring so much joy to our lives.
In my free time, I love spending time outdoors with my family, whether we're exploring nature, camping, or just enjoying the fresh air. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and can't wait to see what this school year has in store!

Hey everyone! I am so excited to be starting a brand-new adventure as your new K-4 General Music teacher this school year!
I am moving to the area from Southeast Missouri, and this move marks a huge, joyful full-circle moment for me. I have a varied background in education, having taught everything from Kindergarten and 5th grade to middle school language arts, social studies, choir, band, and general music! For the last four years, I’ve been working in healthcare. It was a great experience, but deep down, I kept feeling a strong pull back to education. Working with kids over the years just kept solidifying that the classroom is where I belong. I am so ready for the challenge of learning a new way to teach—I'm getting my music lessons ready and looking forward to partnering with all of you as I master this new style!
We chose Northwest Arkansas because my husband and my youngest son, Trenton, are avid mountain bikers who absolutely love the scenery here. Trenton has navigated epilepsy since childhood with an inspiring smile, and we wanted to put down roots in a community that genuinely respects and protects people on bicycles. I’m even planning to hop on the local greenways to start riding again myself—just as soon as I get a new bike seat! Aside from that, my favorite things to do are travel, walk, swim, watch movies, and catch up on sleep.
My family is my whole world. I have a blessing of a husband (who drives me crazy but is my absolute best half) and three kids: Breanna, Tarik, and Trenton. Our family has grown to include my wonderful son-in-law Justin, Tarik's amazing fiancée Brynn (who he is marrying this September), two out-of-this-world granddaughters (Baylor and Scottie), and Kash, our special chocolate Lab. We are a loud, fun-loving, joke-cracking bunch who always have each other's backs. I am so grateful to join this community and can't wait to make some wonderful music and memories with you all soon!

Hi, everyone! My name is Chloe Plume, and I am so excited to be joining the AAA team this year! I recently graduated from the University of Arkansas with my Master of Arts in Teaching and a concentration in GT. I am thrilled to begin my teaching journey at AAA Elementary. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, I moved to NW Arkansas for college and quickly fell in love with the beautiful scenery, welcoming community, and everything Arkansas has to offer. When I'm not in the classroom, you can usually find me sewing, scrapbooking, watching movies, or spending time with my two dogs. My greatest hope is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, supported, and excited to learn. I cannot wait to build relationships with my students and families, make wonderful memories together, and grow alongside my students throughout the year!

Our Book Fair is being extended through Monday Morning! Parents can come and shop before carline today starting as early as 2:30pm, so please come and see all the wonderful things our book fair has to offer.
Here is the school supply list for Kinder through 6th grade. The first day of school for all grades is August 17. Kindergarten open house & picnic is on August 14 from 5:00-6:00. 1st, 3rd, & 5th grade open house is on August 15 from 4:00-5:00. 2nd, 4th, and 6th grade open house is August 15 from 5:30-6:30. Class lists will be shared at the beginning of August.
Get your school supplies before the rush! Here is the school supply list for grades K-6 and essentials. Students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades can buy a school agenda at open house or through their homeroom teacher when school begins August 17!

K-8 Summer School students and teachers explored Cosmic Caverns today to celebrate a great two weeks of learning and fun at AAA! We will start back up for a second two week session after a week off for the 4th of July.
Exciting things are happening at the elementary! First Church Springdale brought a crew of amazing volunteers who are working on multiple projects around the campus. Be on the lookout for a new stage in the shade, raised flower beds, benches and more!

April 18 AAA Elementary will celebrate the planting of SEVEN trees on our playground! Trees are provided by the Arkansas Department of Agriculture- Forestry Division through their Shade Trees On Playgrounds (STOP) program! We will have performances from 9:00-10:30 in the gym celebrating trees and will have an official planting ceremony at 1:30 on the playground.
