Hello Arkansas Arts Academy Parents/Guardians!
The deadline for candidates to submit their applications for the 2021 School Board election has passed. We have a healthy slate of candidates! This year there are two open Board positions up for election which will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 7:30A to 7:30P. The top two votes will elect the candidates to the two vacancies.
We have posted a web page on our school website (SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION 2021) that lists each candidate, and has a link to their application for you to read. Tonight we start to film candidate videos and will post them as we get them throughout this week. Links to those will be on the same page.
On the day of the election, parents/guardians of currently enrolled students will receive an email from noreply@electionrunner.com with the subject: "You are invited to vote in the Arkansas Arts Academy 2021 School Board Election" That email will contain a link to vote. The election opens and closes at the times above. The results will be announced the next day.
