The USDA has approved the extension of this free summer feeding program for all children through 18 years of age.
The program was approved, starting September 1st through December 31st and may be extended.. The Arkansas Department of Education, Child Nutrition Unit has made a formal request to the USDA to be able to back date the start date to the first day of school.
I am in the process of crediting back each student's account for the meals they were charged for from September 1st through the 10th.
