As we enter fall performance season, there are lots of things going on at the 7-12 Campus.  Please remind your student to check the school calendar frequently.  Also, no costumes are allowed during school for the 7-12 campus.  Information on this weeks events is provided below:

  • Monday, October 28th:  Movie Night Fundraiser for Prom!  The junior class is hosting a movie night on the 7-12 campus in order to raise funds for prom.  Admission is $3 and snacks and drinks will be available for $1.  Casper begins at 5:30 pm, all ages are welcome!  Insidious begins at 7:30 pm, anyone under the age of 13 must have written permission from a parent or be accompanied by a parent in order to watch.  Increase the fun by wearing your costume to the event!
  • Tuesday, October 29th: Fall Choir Concert.  The choral department will be presenting their fall concert in the Performing Arts Center at 6:30 pm.  Admission is free but a recommended donation of $5 is welcome.
  • Wednesday, October 30th: FAFSA Night.  Seniors and parents of seniors are welcome to come to the computer lab in D wing to receive help from NWACC financial aid counselors on completing the FAFSA.  You will be able to use school computers but are also welcome to bring your own device.  Drop in between 5 and 8 pm.
  • Wednesday, October 30th: PSAT!  All sophomores and any juniors that have indicated the desire to retake it will be taking the PSAT Wednesday morning.  These students should be at school no later than 8:30 am Wednesday morning.  Testing should be done by 12:00 pm.
  • Basketball Galore: Our basketball teams will play 3 games this week.  The first game is tonight vs. Haas Hall Bentonville.  1st game begins at 5 pm.  The second game is Tuesday night vs. Haas Hall Rogers.  Tip off is at 5 pm.  The last game is Thursday night at The New School in Fayetteville.  Tip off is at 5 pm.
  • Report cards for the 1st quarter will be sent home with students on Tuesday.
  • The Arkansas Arts Academy Foundation is hosting a fundraiser to help supply the Gives Back Closets on both campuses.  This Parent Night Out event will be held on November 9th from 6:30-9:00 pm at the Schaefer home.  Tickets are available now and can be purchased at: Thank you for helping to support AAA families in need.
